MMUN New York Travel Aid

Middle school students are preparing to represent their delegation at the Montessori Model United Nations Conference in New York City, March 17–20, 2027. They research international issues, write position papers and speeches, and practice formal debate and diplomacy — and the conference is where that work comes alive alongside students from around the world.

Travel is a real cost for families. Your gift helps fund need-based travel aid so that cost isn’t what decides whether a qualified delegate can attend. Aid is awarded by Friends of GROW under written, objective, and nondiscriminatory criteria.

What your gift supports

Friends of GROW is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including homeschool access, scholarships, technology, and experiential learning.

Technology & classroom resources

Devices, equipment, books, learning materials, and supplies.

Need-based scholarships

Tuition, program, and travel assistance awarded under written, objective, nondiscriminatory policies.

Experiential learning

Field learning, environmental and civic education, cultural experiences, and academic competitions.

Educators & mentors

Support for the teachers, mentors, and volunteers who make these experiences possible.

Gifts support Friends of GROW’s programs and can’t be designated for a specific student or family.

Tax status

Friends of GROW’s application for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is pending with the IRS. Please consult your tax advisor about deductibility.
